    TORONTO, May 14 /CNW/ - Sun Life Financial Inc. will hold its annual
meeting in Toronto, Ontario on May 21, 2009.Date:        Thursday, May 21, 2009

    Time:        10 a.m. (EDT)

    Location:    Sun Life Financial Tower
                 150 King Street West (at University Avenue), 2nd Floor
                 Toronto, OntarioThe annual meeting will be chaired by Ronald W. Osborne, Chairman of the
Board, with a presentation by Donald A. Stewart, Chief Executive Officer.
Photography and cameras are permitted during the first 15 minutes of the
annual meeting.
    The annual meeting will be followed by a media session hosted by Donald
A. Stewart. Registered media are welcome to attend the media session in the
Videoconferencing Room. The media session is scheduled to take place
approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the meeting. Journalists
planning to attend the briefing should RSVP to Kathleen Killen no later than
May 19, 2009.
