Highlights of the report include Sun Life's continued focus on health and wellness initiatives, including the funding of the Sun Life Financial Movement Disorders Research & Rehabilitation Centre at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, to benefit patients with Parkinson's Disease and other movement disorders; and support for the Sun Life Financial Health Information Centre at Toronto's Bridgepoint Hospital - a resource centre where people living with complex chronic diseases can access information to help them cope with their conditions and make better, more informed decisions and choices to positively impact their overall well-being.
