Sadiq S. Adatia appointed Sun Life Global Investments' Chief InvestmentOfficer

TORONTO, June 29, 2011 /CNW/ - Sun Life Global Investments (Canada) Inc. today announced the appointment of Sadiq S. Adatia as Chief Investment Officer effective July 18, 2011.

Mr. Adatia joins Sun Life Global Investments with over 15 years of extensive experience in the investment industry.  Most recently, Mr. Adatia was Chief Investment Officer of Russell Investments, responsible for the investment integrity of all domestic and foreign investment mutual funds sold in Canada.  He has also served as Portfolio Manager for their Canadian equity products and balanced portfolios.
