Sun Life Financial makes $10,000 donation to support the community of L'Isle-Verte

MONTREAL, Jan. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Sun Life Financial is donating $10,000 to the Red Cross to assist and support victims of the fire at the Résidence du Havre in l'Isle-Verte after the tragic events of yesterday morning. It is our hope that this contribution will pave the way for further donations to the Red Cross campaign to raise $50,000 to meet the immediate needs of those affected.

Our donation to the Red Cross will help supply certain essential needs to the evacuated residents and their families, such as food, shelter, clothing and other basic necessities. We also wish to applaud the efforts of the Red Cross volunteers and all those who are working to assist the people of l'Isle-Verte.
