Wishing Isabelle Hudon success as she leaves Sun Life Financial to become the first female Canadian Ambassador to France

TORONTO, Sept. 29, 2017 /CNW/ - Sun Life Financial Inc. (TSX: SLF) (NYSE: SLF) is proud to announce one of its best and brightest senior leaders, Isabelle Hudon, Executive Chair, Sun Life Financial Quebec and Senior Vice-President, Client Solutions is embarking on the next chapter in her career as the newly appointed Canadian Ambassador to France.

Ms. Hudon joined Sun Life in August 2010 as SLF Quebec President, a role she held until 2015. Under her leadership, Sun Life Financial experienced impressive growth in all business lines in Quebec and is a significantly more prominent brand within that marketplace. The growth and sales momentum has continued under Robert Dumas, who succeeded Ms. Hudon as President in 2015 and will now assume the role of Executive Chair, SLF Quebec. More recently, Ms. Hudon has been the Senior Vice-President, Client Solutions where she's led the national growth strategy for a pivotal and innovative business that deepens our relationships with group and retail Clients by providing the right solutions at the right time.
